DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Prepares a limited variety of alcoholic drinks where a working knowledge of the various mixes is required. Prepares light bar snacks. Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes and returns change. Performs other duties, such as keeping the facility clean, in support of the operation.
May occasionally work special functions; parties, luncheons, and banquets.
Ability to learn food techniques to meet sanitation and safety standards. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgment in sequencing tasks. A minimum of 6 months of practical experience in bartending and cashiering preferred.
All servers must be certified to responsible alcohol service by completing the Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively (CARE) course. New hires must complete this training within 30 days of hire.
