POSITION TITLE: HOUSEKEEPER
SERIES/PAY: NA-3566-02, Step 05 - $11.46 P/Hr
PHYSICAL LOCATION: Navy Gateway Inns & Suites
Naval Support Activity Panama City, FL
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 Hrs/wk - 8 hrs per day, 5 days per week
7:00AM to 3:30PM or 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Schedule subject to Weekends and Holidays

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Incumbent will perform a full range of housekeeping and custodial duties to include making beds, changing linens, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, disinfecting, etc.
SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE: Previous work experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions, move around well enough to work safely, lift and move items weighing up to 45 lbs, go up and down stairs.
Must be able to use common cleaning tools and light weight vacuum cleaners. In addition, may use power carpet cleaning equipment, which require a short training period. Must be able to pass certification within 120 days from hire date. Must be able to successful pass background investigation. Valid driver’s license required.
