Position Title:                                  Recreation Assistant - Life Guard

Series/Pay Band:                           NF-0189-02, $15.00 - $16.00 p/hr

Physical Location:                         MWR Aquatics Center, NSA-Panama City

25-30 Hrs Per week, to include holidays, weekends, and occasional split shifts

Description of Duties:                   Responsible for water safety practices, swim instruction and life-saving at pool and to warn swimmers of unsafe conditions that may pose a threat to a person’s life, health and safety.  Helps with cleanliness of the immediate surrounding area and with minor up-keep and care of pool.  Responsible for opening and closing operations of the pool facility and patrolling area prior to the opening and at closing of the pool to ensure facility is secure.  Will conduct special events such as movie night and pool parties. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

*       Must possess current Life Guard Certification (First Aid/CPR/AED) by May 16, 2022.
