Physical Location:                     Navy Gateway Inns and Suites

                                                        Naval Support Activity Panama City

Series/Pay Band:                             NF-0303-02. $12.00-$13.00 p/hr, DOE

SCHEDULE:                                  Schedule 5 nights p/wk, 11PM – 7:30AM

                                                       Weekends and Holidays as required.

                                                       Could include other shifts and irregular tours of duty

Description of Duties:       The purpose of the work is to provide front desk financial auditing support and front desk services.  It involves creating the daily, monthly and annual occupancy reports.  Also prepares payment activity reports, notates delinquent accounts, performs credit card batch settlement and performs computer generated night audit.  Also verifies charges, makes appropriate changes if errors occur.  And makes reservations, issuing confirmation numbers, determining appropriate accommodations for guests, checking guests in and out, collecting monies, and maintaining all pertinent records in the property management systems.

Qualification Requirements:       Applicants must show 6 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles, concepts, standards, regulations and administration related to customer service, reservations, reservations and/or front desk functions, and night auditing functions.  Knowledge and ability to complete and process night audit functions.  Ability to interpret results and complete all required accounting reports.

   - Computer Skills and Customer Service experience required

   - Must possess basic math and reading skills

   - Be able to handle, control ad account for large amounts of cash

   - Effective communication skills required

   - Valid Florida driver’s license required.
