DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Incumbent will be assigned to service Cabins in the MWR Navy Recreational Lodging Program. Duties will include changing linens, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and removing trash. Disinfects mirror, tub, shower stall, vanities, and toilets. Places proper amenities in rooms, cleans coffee makers, ice buckets, refrigerator, stove top, utensils, microwaves, etc. Cleans common areas to include bathhouse, vending room, laundry facility, corridors, lounges and storage spaces.
SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE: Needs basic abilities & knowledge which generally require no job training: read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions, lift and move items weighing up to 45 lbs, and able to go up and down stairs.
Must be able to use common cleaning tools and light weight vacuum cleaners.
Must be able to successful pass background investigation and hold a valid driver’s license.
